Wonderful place for solo backpackers and digital nomads. Cadiz is a small port city on the southern coast of Spain. Beautiful architecture and right on the coast. Groceries are affordable and the local market Had some of the best mangoes I’ve had in my life! Very walkable and friendly people. There is a university in Cadiz as well so there’s plenty of young people and Erasmos students to meet. Nightlife is fun but not crazy like the larger Spanish cities. It is much easier/enjoyable if you speak some Spanish. Many do speak English but as in any country, native language is preferable.Posted: June 2, 2023
