If you like seafood, get a plate of grilled octopus or gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp). The paella in coastal towns is worth the hype, especially when it’s freshly made for two. Don’t skip ensaimadas (the fluffy spiral pastries) with coffee in the morning, and if you like tapas, order pimientos de padrón and patatas bravas — they’re everywhere and always different. Also, if you’re into ice cream, there are small artisanal gelato spots in almost every seaside town. Things to do: Cala Varques & Cala Mondragó – the kind of beaches you see in postcards, with turquoise water and soft sand. Alcudia Old Town – cobblestone streets, little cafés, and a nice market. Cap de Formentor – dramatic cliffs and views that feel unreal (the drive up is half the adventure). Palma – the cathedral is massive and beautiful, and the little streets nearby are full of hidden tapas bars. Boat trip along the coast – totally worth it for the views and swimming spots you can’t reach by land.
Posted: August 12, 2025I spent 2 days there as a budget weekend trip. Flight ticket was like 20 euros there and back to Barcelona. Amazing food, nice beaches. You can shower at the beach. If totally on budget you can sleep at the airport lol
Posted: May 29, 2025It was a very nice trip ! In Autumn, it’s the end of the tourist season so there were not plenty of people but the weather was still excellent and the sea was really warm ! The locals are so friendly and welcoming and always volunteers to help us and gives us the best places to hang out !

It was the first time I traveled alone and it was one of the best vacations I've ever had!! I felt very safe. I slept in a hotel near the beach in Cala Rajada. The food was very tasty. I was there for five days and spent around €700 including flights and food. If you have never traveled alone, I can definitely recommend Mallorca as a travel destination.🥰
Posted: October 30, 2024Experienced: September, 2024in Majorca, I stayed in an all-inclusive hotel, the food was delicious considering that the hotel is 3 stars, very good service, good rooms and entertainment every evening, but I think that it is a hotel for older people the hotel has a name «Nordeste Playa» I felt safe the whole trip and even visited several places of interest, beautiful island
Posted: October 29, 2024Experienced: September, 2024I think Mallorca is a very safe place but just to be sure have always someone by your side because I went with friends to Paguera. People over all where very nice and even when we are at a beach where women could safely swim without a top on, it was safe. I didn't see any men bothering women. So, it's very safe in my opinion
