I have never felt safer in any place I have ever been. Truly I feel so so safe. I have not been in a single place in Spain, where I have not felt safe as someone who looks more feminine and is sleeping in a car or in hostels truly, I think Spain is one of the most safe place I have been to especially also as someone part of the LGBTQIA community.
Posted: July 1, 2026It is a very small city in Spain, very safe and low level of risk for foreigners. There are few streets in the city outskirts that could be a bit unsafe at night but people don’t use to go there. Also public transport is super safe.

I personally don't go out much but you're still never spared glances and comments. Although nothing serious has happened to my staff, I know people who do. In addition, lately crimes or assaults in my city have increased quite a bit. So there's always a chance that something will happen to you

We are 250k people here, most of them young people who works at fashion. We live in a peacefully environment specially at the city centre. I rather don’t walk alone past midnight, specially in some specific neighbourhoods, city centre is fine.

I travel out of curiosity, not to tick boxes. I enjoy understanding places through people, food, and everyday life, not just landmarks. I’m practical, open-minded, and easy to adapt. I like good conversations, walking without a plan, and sharing experiences with women who travel with intention, humor, and common sense. If you value meaningful trips and real connections, we’ll probably get along well.
