Coruña is a city at the height of multiculturalism; the differences between neighborhoods are quite noticeable (Plaza Ponte is not the same as Los Mallos), but it is still safe. Currently, there is a garbage strike that has led some people to set fire to containers, which is the most dangerous situation at the moment.
Posted: July 27, 2024Coruña is very safe, however there are areas like Los Mayos or Sagrada Familia that aren't as safe. The center of Coruña or Matogrande are very safe, I have never had any problems. At night there are lots of people and bars open.
