Is Arad worth visiting?

Is Arad safe for women?

Not many murder cases or rapes as far as I know. Quite a number of drug dealers and acts of violence, but if you know how to stay away from creepy areas, Arad is generally a pretty safe city. Of course, catcalling is common here too, but if you just walk away they will usually leave you alone.

I lived in Arad in my youth and the city is and was considered a pretty safe and quiet city. Nothing grand ever happens. As any other place you hear things here and there, but as long as you stick to the places where people are and avoid dark tiny roads I'd say it's pretty safe allaroud.
