I absolutely loved living and working in Tampere. Kind people. Lovely sights. Beautiful forests. Loved experiencing snow the first time. If you love nature, you will love this city for sure Got to see the Moomin museum. Got to go to visit Vapriiki museum. Lots to see and experience.

Tampere is very safe and calm city. There may be some sexually harassing comments especially in the nightlife. The city centre may be a bit uneasy at weekend nights when there is drunken people around. Other than that, super safe. There is no need to worry about getting robbed or attacked.

It is very safe. Crimes are rare and as a woman i feel completely safe in Tampere. Even at night i dont have to be scared. Obviously still i wouldn't go to some dark places at night alone, but as long as you use common sense, you will be fine
