Compared to other cities in the world, Helsinki is a very safe city but there are of course some specific areas you should avoid at night, for example some places in east Helsinki. Overall you are safe here.

Verry safe, only thing that you cant leave unlocked is your bike. I never had any problems walking or biking trough the city at any point. No mather what time of the day and lots of police circulating through Helsinki at night to make it safe😊

Super safe! Finland in general is super safe. I never experienced anything. And also non of my friends have. People are very polite, keep their distance and are very quiet and calm. It’s their culture.

I'm an Italian woman. I'm a quiet and nice person who loves meeting new people especially from different countries and I also like to travel, discover new cultures and learn new languages. Especially I love Japan, it's culture and language and I hope to visit it soon. I also love cooking, baking, watching movies, tv series and figure skating.
