Is Pori safe for solo female travelers?

Pori is a very small and safe town even for women travelling alone. I’ve lived here for 12 years and never had any problems walking alone after dark etc. The locals are polite and will let you stay at peace if you want to.

Pori is not a very "safe" city by Finnish standards, which only goes to show the Finnish standard is very high. Some people get drunk at night and sound a bit scary from afar, but it is mostly quiet and quite safe to get around. If strangers stop you, it's usually to help not to harm. I have lost both my key (with my address attached) and phone on different occasions, and they have been returned safely. Petty theft does happen sometimes though, although it's usually of things of low value and done out of sight. However you should be careful with bicycles as with any other Finnish cities.
