Very safe. You can walk around freely at night anywhere in Finland. Espoo is peaceful and has less night life and action. In Helsinki there is just one park where you shouldn’t go in the night and that’s all.

Espoo is pretty safe city. Public transportation works and is safe. There are some drunken people at night around bars and pubs, like in any other city. I feel safe to walk in forests, parks, streets etc

Relatively safe, most popular areas are typically safe, as well as well connected. You might sometimes encounter people who may seem sketchy at first glance late at night but they're rarely actually an issue

About me

I am a social person and interested in other cultures and languages. I work as a psychologist with immigrants. I like reading books, studying different languages and traveling to new places. I have 2 cats and love animals in general. Last year I had a project of improving my turkish and trying to make it fluent. My goal is to be able to work in turkish at my current job. To reach this goal I did a 3 week volunteering on a farm in a small village in Istanbul as a workawayer. I had another 5 week trip to Turkey where I did a 2 week workawayer volunteering in Osmaniye and was backpacking 3 weeks (Izmir, Efesos, Samos, Istanbul, Adana, Mersin, Tarsus, Gaziantep). Now I’m planning a 3 week trip to Turkey only backpacking in cities: Adana, Hatay, Şanliurfa, Gaziantep, Mardin, Diyarbakır. After my turkish language project I’m planning on volunteering in other countries as well as a workawayer 😊☀️
