Safety at night:Safe
Niagara Falls and its surrounding regions in Canada are generally safe and have a lower crime rate compared to many other cities. However, it is always good to remain cautious, especially when walking alone at night. The public areas, including the Falls themselves and the tourist areas, are well lit and usually have plenty of people, even at night. But as in any place, less crowded or dimly lit areas should be avoided when alone at night. Most locals are friendly and willing to help if you find yourself in a questionable situation. It's always helpful to plan your route in advance, stay in populated areas and keep your belongings secure.
