I haven't been here very long. It's pretty safe, there is a fair amount of homeless population which from the outside can look scary but there is very little crime here. I don't go out at night so it is hard to say on that end of things. Your bike will get stolen if you leave it unchained downtown or out in your yard. Probably. There are definitely a fair amount of drug users, which again, scary from the outside but more just sad. People generally don't bother you if you don't bother them....

As a white cis straight passing woman, I feel safe walking in the dark, and taking public transit. There have been occurrences of violence against women and people of colour, so I will not say that Kelowna is completely safe, but Kelowna is generally ok for tourists.

Kelowna is a beautiful city. It’s full visiting in the summer as we have hundreds of wineries and big beautiful lakes. The waterfront downtown is beautiful with many restaurants and night life. Winter is beautiful too. We have an outdoor skating rink downtown and Big White and Silver Star ski hills

About me

Adventurous, grounded, and always curious about the world 🌍 I’m a professional who travels often and loves connecting with inspiring women along the way. I’m a marathon runner, nature enthusiast, and proud mom of two amazing university-aged daughters. When I’m not working or exploring a new destination, you’ll find me at a music festival, hiking, cycling, kayaking, geocaching, visiting museums and galleries, or simply soaking up beautiful scenery. I’m a cat lover, spiritually minded, and enjoy meaningful conversation, shared experiences, and a good laugh. Always open to new friendships, travel tips, and adventures big or small.

About me

Hello ✌🏼🎀 Outdoorsy, adventurous, friendly, accountable and occasionally humorous. I’ve been around the world, love meeting new people and enjoy hosting. A cute little dachshund has been travelling with me for the past two years now (but in case you’re place is pet-free I can always leave her at her dog-sitter) 🐕 I especially love hiking with friends, skiing, art, history and a glass of wine or cappuccino with a fancy meal her or there. I also love fashion and shopping elegant outfits. Feel free to leave me a message. Anyone want to join me skiing Big White this winter?
