Small community where everyone knows everyone and everyone looks out for each other. Very friendly to strangers as it’s a tourist town in the North so everyone is happy to help out. Walkable safe town. Midnight sun so no darkness in the summer, can be out safely at all times of night. Should be bear aware though around town and recognize that there’s limited cell service in the area.
