Hi everyone! I’m a 28-year-old Thai who lives nearby Bangkok and studies MA at a university in Bangkok. Basically, I love going on a day trip around Bangkok with my family and friends. I found that there are many magical places in Bangkok where many people haven’t visited yet. So, it would be my pleasure to share them and spend time there with you. I went on my first solo trip to Thailand. I was backpacking around SEA for 3 months, landing and starting in Bangkok. Thailand has a huge tourism industry so the country is built up a lot for it. There are tons of other visitors from around the world in Thailand, if you stay in hostels you'll meet a lot of solo travelers. The food is delicious, everything is cheap, the landscapes are beautiful, and you can get by with English.

I've been to Thailand lots of times and never felt unsafe. It's very affordable, with good street food and lots of solo travelers. I love the islands too. I have spent only like 1000€ for a month.

Thailand is such a beautiful and safe country ! I really recommend to go solo travelling over there because there are many solo backpackers and especially women. There is also many many things to do, from the paradisiac islands to the mountains in the north, everything is breathtaking ! The food is also 💯 !!! And it’s an affordable country as well.

I spent five weeks in Thailand solo last year. I love the beach and focused my trip mostly on the islands. Really enjoyed Krabi, Railay, Phi Phi, and Koh Tao. Koh Lanta was also beautiful but would have been better for me if I knew how to drive a scooter (don't recommend to try for the first time in Thailand. Have heard too many horror stories). Koh Samui I didn't spend much time in And Phuket was just fine but I found the other islands I mentioned to be better both in terms of vibe and beauty. Outside of the islands, Bangkok was incredible. I've stayed in the Yaowarat area in Bangkok a few times and loved it. Chiang Mai and Pai were also lovely and worth a visit.
