Hello! My name is Mia Gjurinovac. I'm currently studying psychology and I'm passionate about understanding the human mind. I love spending time in nature, meeting new people, and exploring different cultures through travel. I'm an animal lover and music enthusiast, and I enjoy dancing, acting, and immersing myself in the arts. One of my biggest dreams is to travel the world and experience everything it has to offer. I'm looking for meaningful connections and friendships with like-minded women who share similar interests. Let's inspire and support each other on this incredible journey called life! Looking forward to meeting you!

Hello 😊 I'm Lana, a wannabe solo traveler, looking to meet fellow travelers. Unfortunately I can't host, but I am looking forward to meeting other travelers and possibly showing you around my city and giving you advice if u need some 🥰 In my future travels I am looking for a guide, host and co-traveler if we match on certain key points 💪 I am tidy, organised, like to cook, explore new places and especially try new food from other cultures 🤤

Is Croatia safe to travel?

Family travel experience

I love Croatia! The people are very open, warm and welcoming. The prices in general are cheaper average I would say, of course there are cheaper and more expensive areas. But if you book some time in advance you can find pretty cheap accommodations. I felt all the time very safe. :)

Solo travel experience

The hole country is beautiful, beaches and cities. Museum of broken relationships is one of the most creative museums I’ve seen. Safe for women alone. The only thing is that in the countryside people speak German and not English as a second language.

Solo travel experience

This is one of my favorite moments in my solo trips. Since I took the bus in Milan to go to Zagreb overnight, I met a very kind old man that told me amazing stories… I was going for only 3 days and decided to stay longer and visit Trogir, Split and Dubrovnik. I loved the country but mostly I love their people 😃

Group travel experience

I went on the Best of Croatia: a Coastal Village tour with Road Scholar and it was phenomenal. A couple nights on land on either end of a seven-day small ship cruise with 16 passengers and 6 crew. They do have a single surcharge. But for a great educational, historical, and cultural experience where each stop was another World Heritage site, it couldn’t be beat. As is common with these trips, there were more women than men and the men were nearly all in couples. And people on the Road Scholar trips are generally intellectually curious and good company even for an extended trip. Road Scholar is for people over 50, so the participants do skew toward retirees.
