I felt safe during my stay. I was there for one year and visited with my friends the diffent cities (almost all of them hahaha) It's not an expensive country and transport is really cheap for international students, for example train tickets for 4€, 20 at most if you want to go to the opposite side of the country It's true that at night during winter there is absolutely no one, so I wouldn't go out at night alone, some catcalling here and there from drunken men depending on the street at night.

A random guy followed us. We were really afraid. I think he was a homeless guy. We delibaretly went into a church to get rid of him. But when we went outside after almost ten minutes, he was still there.
