Bikepacked to Tbilisi from Turkey in June to continue on to Semarkand and further, but seem to be stranded in Tbilisi till October due to the universe working its ways. :) I'm originally from Turkey, but currently taking a break from life and would love to meet, travel with, and or/host other traveling ladies like me.

I've been to Georgia multiple times, it's a very safe country, you just need to exercise normal caution like you would anywhere. Bolt taxi app is the one all my friends there use, works very well and is super cheap. If you want to go hiking or go to remote places, best to do it with a guide or group.Posted: September 23, 2023
I went to Georgia on my first solo trip ever. I had an amazing time and I couldn’t be happier to have made this decision. The country is beautiful, the people are so friendly, you’ll find delicious food and wine and also it’s a very cheap destination.Posted: August 10, 2023
I stayed in Georgia for 11 days and there was still so much to do. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful country if you like nature, beaches, history, and good food. It's affordable and you can get cheaper prices if you book locally. I went to Kazbegi and Gadauri (snowy areas), Batumi (beach), Kakheti (8,000 years of winemaking and nature), Tbilisi, and Metskheta (all with amazing historical attractions). Most attractions are free, except for museums. I traveled with organized tours and by minivan (marshrutka) and both were great experiences. The local food is delicious, especially the egg/cheese khachapuri (pie). I felt very safe traveling alone and using public transportation during the day and night.Posted: August 1, 2023
