I did Italy solo and loved it. Learning the trains was tricky for me. I felt very safe but I didn’t stay out super late since I was solo. Italians are super friendly and helpful- many even speak English in the cities.

I went to Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome, and Capri in 11 days. Took a train from Venice to Florence. A day bus trip to Pisa. Train to Rome, bus tour to and from Capri with a 2-night stay. This was mid-June so not too crowded and had great weather. Italy is amazing.

I went to Italy for 4 days - flew to Milan- got the train to Lake Como - back to Milan- train to Venice. I loved all these places and was so nice to see the variety that Italy has.

I went to Italy in September with a group. We flew into Rome and drove to Sorrento and stayed there. From there, we went to Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and all the towns along the coast. It is truly one of the most beautiful areas I’ve ever seen. September was great. We toured some wineries and went up into the hills, spent time along the water, so much to see, and do. On the way home we stopped and went through Pompeii and then spent another day in Rome before flying home.
