Went with a friend to escape barcelona for a bit. We slept in hammocks outside, nobody complained. Met local fishermen and a german dude who was also just hanging with them. Street people do not speak english so thats where i finally let go and started speaking spanish. Overall nice town, very pretty. Pasty shops are usually happy to give you whats left at the end of the day.

The town is safe in general however it has lots of pickpockets, lots specifically during city festivals as gay pride, bear week, carnival. Never put your phone and wallet on the table of a restaurant, don’t wear backpacks, don’t leave luggage in a parked vehicle, don’t park Ebikes in public areas.
