Half day is enough. I went to from Amsterdam to Edam with using bus. Just 30min. You should visit traditional museum and you should try special cheese! So calm and peaceful.. you can really understand their tradition because Volendam isn’t like Amsterdam where there are a lot of people from different countries. Enjoy your trip!
