Hello, My name is Lina :-) Im a 23 years old film student from Montreal, Canada. I like spaces with a lot of grass that grows wildly, most animals, film&art and people that are both kind and silly in a way that makes you feel warm even if it's cold outside. I'm doing a summer program at a university in prague and after that i'm travelling a bit around. I want to meet some people, hopefully find an accommodation for Berlin and just make new discoveries!

Bonjour I am a singer (soprano) coming to Urbino for a workshop on early music. I’ll spend a week singing and after I would love to travel around Italy. I’d love to go surf, see some quiet and secrets spots , and just visit places . It’s my first time in Italy 🥰 Im thinking to stay mostly half north ( coasts included) because I have to be in France around 10th august. Im looking for some people to meet me, an afternoon, host me a night or even go for a surf session with me! I can teach you sing, french , cook together or just spend a good time chatting . Im enthusiastic, open minded and very respectful of someone’s bubble. I’m frank and love honesty. ( I’m french after all! 😂) Ive travelled in New Zealand recently and have beautiful stories to share. Let me know if you can host me anywhere at the beach or in half north of Italy. Cheers Ariana

Solène
Hello ! I'm Solène, I'm French and I'm currently on a one-year temporary work visa on Montréal. Before returning to France permanently, I decided to treat myself to a 3 month road trip across Canada and United States. I can't spending 3 months alone, I believe that richness of a trip also comes from meeting people. I would also love to discover hidden places, beyond the tourist spots. Moreover, my english needs improvement, and I think there's no better way to improve it than by immersing myself directly in a country. FRENCH Salut !

I’m currently travelling in Montreal, I’m here for a month. I’m having a lot of fun here, it’s really nice and safe place, as a woman I feel very good with the city and walking by myself. The only bad point would be the prices that are very high unfortunately…
Posted: March 26, 2024I absolutely adore Montreal. I would recommend accommodation close to transit/train stations as their transit systems are really efficient. Things stay open late but on weekends expect them to wrap up around 3am. I wouldn’t recommend being out alone past that time. Even though it’s still fairly safe, there were still a few unsafe moments as a woman travelling alone. So stick to transit, don’t be out past 2-3am especially alone, and call an Uber if you must!

I am a business consultant, born in China and graduated from university in Hong Kong. Here are 3 fun facts about me: 1. During my university years, I was able to travel to 9 different countries through scholarship applications and cultural exchange programs. 2. During the period since starting my career, I have not had a stable home base, living in many cities across China. I consider this my "YOLO (You Only Live Once) plan" and have been keeping a YOLO diary, documenting my experiences in over 30 different locations in China so far. 3. I hope to live to the age of 103, as I find this world to be endlessly fascinating and would love to experience it across two centuries.

Overall I thought my experience here was pretty good. I came with a mixed gender group of friends and we stayed at a airbnb for 4 nights. I think the average price for each person was just a bit over $100. The public transport is easy to understand even without understanding French, but our taxi/uber experiences were not very good. There’s many activities outside of the city that can be easily accessed by bus as well as a robust nightlife. Although the one day we went to a club, all the women in our group got groped by some sleezey old dudes (we’re all in university). Still, it was a really fun experience to have with friends!

Beautiful city with old world charm. Food scene is very good. Montreal also has a large musician and circus vibe. Lots of summer festivals. The old port and the Olympics Stadium and village is a must see.
