Hi everyone! I’m Ivana from Alberta, Canada. I’m the kind of person who will happily say yes to a spontaneous road trip, a sunrise hike, getting lost in a new city, or trying a food I can’t pronounce. For me, travel is about collecting stories rather than souvenirs and meeting the people who make each place unique. Professionally, I work in experiential marketing and event management, so I’m used to organizing adventures, solving problems on the fly, and making sure everyone has a great time. Outside of work, my interests are all over the map—which is probably why I love traveling so much. I’ve worked in software project management, fundraising, marketing, restaurants, owned a furniture business, painted and sold artwork, and I’m always curious to learn something new. Some of my favorite things include hiking, camping, flying (I earned my private pilot licence last year!), exploring small towns, photography, good conversations over coffee or wine, local markets, museums, live music, and finding those hidden gems that never make it into the guidebooks. I’d describe myself as positive, easygoing, organized, and always up for an adventure. I love traveling with people who are kind, curious, respectful, and don’t mind laughing when plans inevitably go sideways. I’m hoping to meet other women who enjoy meaningful travel, genuine friendships, and saying “why not?” a little more often. Looking forward to sharing adventures with you all!
Edmonton is a nice city. It has the river valley, which is by far my favourite aspect of Edmonton. It also has West Edmonton Mall, which is a man awesome experience when visiting as a tourist. It has a waterpark, amusement park, ice rink, arcade, movie theatre, marine centre, go-carts, bowling, casino, hotel, etc. The biggest issue with Edmonton currently is the crime, especially on public transport. During busy hours you should be fine, but drug use and homelessness is a huge problem at ETS...
