Hi there! I am a 50 something woman who enjoys hiking camping outdoor spaces cafes and quieter modes of travel. I've lived in Victoria for 3 years I can host people briefly up to three nights I have a couch in my apartment. I live near the University I've traveled to South America, Costa Rica Ecuador and I've been multiple times to Mexico. I speak English and a tiny bit of Spanish and a small bit of French. I also enjoy music and healthy eating and I used to teach yoga. I may take a couple of days to reach out but I will eventually respond. :)

Victoria in inner harbour/government street/fisherman’s warf was fun, had a great nightlife and was extremely safe. Walking around by myself at night was not a problem, lots of people and busy touristy areas. Tons of beautiful sights to see around the harbour and great restaraunts. Take in a whale watching tour and be sure to check out butchtart gardens, they were absolutely stunning! Victoria is an expensive city, but definitely worth it. Do a day trip and head out to sombrío beach only 2 hours away for the hidden waterfall and stunning ocean scenery, or goldstream park is 20 minutes away...
