About me

Hello! I’m Lixie, 23 years old frenchie living in Tasmania. I have been here since September 2024, originally came for a 2 week road trip and ended up looking for a job. I lived in Devonport for a bit before moving to Hobart. It’s the perfect balance between a big city and a quiet town. I am open to hosting, I host using Couchsurfing as well so I have references on there from both guests and hosts if you want to check it out. I stayed in over 15 countries using Couchsurfing and now it’s my time to give back.

About me

Hi! My name is Leah, I'm an architect living the good life in Tasmania. I love art and culture just as much as I love unplugging and connecting with nature. I love finding underground scenes, throwing silly parties and my amazing friends here at home. I live at Kingston Beach, near Hobart. If you have a car or want to use the crappy public transport system here, feel free to hit me up about coming down my way and going snorkelling, walking near the beach or going down to the Huon Valley! I might be able to host if you seem like my kind of human. 😊

Is Hobart worth visiting?

Solo travel

Felt safe loved the laid back atmosphere and the range of activities that were on offer. Travelled round the country too was amazing! Felt very safe. Budget wise easy to do as a backpacker just be aware no Aldi in the state.
