Hello, I am Kerry a grey nomad & 5th generation Australian who has been travelling overseas since I was 20. I love Australia but also love learning about & experiencing other communities & culture around the world . My favourite activity when overseas is to sit with a coffee (or chai) in a public place & just observe the locals go about their day. I also like swimming & hiking (as long as there are no mountains to climb). I am a keen gardener at home so always searching international neighbourhoods for new landscaping & architectural ideas. I lived & worked in Pakistan for a year & have revisited there a number of times, which resulted in me becoming a moderate Muslim. Still have a few places to cross off my list so currently taking 5 months off work to travel through the UAE, Spain & Portugal & returning to one of my favourite places - Morocco.

Hi! My name is Leah, I'm an architect living the good life in Tasmania. I love art and culture just as much as I love unplugging and connecting with nature. I love finding underground scenes, throwing silly parties and my amazing friends here at home. I live at Kingston Beach, near Hobart. If you have a car or want to use the crappy public transport system here, feel free to hit me up about coming down my way and going snorkelling, walking near the beach or going down to the Huon Valley! I might be able to host if you seem like my kind of human. 😊
Based on 100 experiences
I spent 6 months in Australia as a solo female backpacker. It was an amazing experience, I met so many people & made new friends:) I can highly recommend it! It’s a great place for solo travellers, you’ll never feel alone, there’s always someone who can help you:)
