About me

Hi! I'm twenty from Australia! My mum is from Switzerland & my dad is from New Zealand - (I have lived in New Zealand & Switzerland, I went to school in Switzerland). I speak fluent Swiss & German, still learning Maori! I absolutely love travelling! I've been travelling around the globe since I was a baby: I've been to almost 20 countries! I'm currently in University, hoping to become a doctor! I'm extremely passionate about the healthcare industry & travelling is one way I get to explore and educate myself further! I have two dogs & a cat! A chocolate Labrador, a cattle dog and a Garfield cat. I absolutely adore them! I absolutely love the beach or anything water related, especially growing up in Australia (surrounded by a body of water) and as a surf life saver. I think that’s all I can think of for the moment! ❤️❤️ My Instagram is @sopharoha !

About me

Hi! I'm Bop - a queer Aussie woman in France, learning to tune pianos! Back home, I am a piano teacher, wine expert, and massues 💆‍♀️. I love cooking, reading, playing music, and connecting with other women while travelling. I’m warm, grounded, respectful, and always happy to share stories, meals, or a quiet moment. I am grateful for safe, welcoming spaces where we can just be ourselves 🌈 I'm back home to Australia mid June :)

About me

I quit my job, sold my house and have been travelling ever since! I love meeting new people and sharing travel tips and ideas! I love the outdoors, getting involved and learning new things. I am currently learning to speak Spanish whilst travelling through South America. I have travelled extensively since the age of 18 usually staying in hostels (no matter how old I was) because that's how you meet the best people! I am 52 years young and super active. I have recently ridden a scooter solo around parts of Indonesia, climbed multiple volcanoes, learned to scuba dive, free dive and I long distance swim in the ocean whenever I find somewhere with warm enough water 😂 I don't smoke or do drugs but I do love a good Margarita or two on occasion 😉 I had previously been a host on Couchsurfing but since selling my house and starting to travel obviously I haven't been able to but I'm hoping the hosting love will come back to me now! As soon as I get home and find a new place my doors will once again be open to all the adventurous people of the world 🤗

About me

Hi, I'm a scuba instructor working on the Great Barrier Reef and Uni student studying software engineering. I love all things in and on the water of course. I really enjoy going to good restaurants and bars. Especially if they have live music. I enjoy going for long walks/hikes and take photos of the beautiful nature. I do a lot of yoga as well. Alse am a huge boardgames and card games nerd! I own my own home where me and my partner live but I still love going on solo trips often.

Byron Bay, Solo travel

Byron was crazy and amazing!! It can be a very intense place and I found after a few months there I needed to leave. But for the time I had there I meet so many cool people and enjoyed so much beach time. There is so many beautiful nature spots! I will say there are a lot of predatory men, which made me feel unsafe at times. But probably you get that everywhere, I just found it worse in Byron.

Perth, Couple travel

I lived in Perth for about 1.5 years and I still regret not traveling around Australia. Perth is very calm and is frequented by many international students. If you like nightlife, Perth might not be for you. There are many daytime activities and during public holidays, but except for the Northbridge area, many places close early in the evening. During the day, I always felt safe; the Aboriginal people, except for the noise they made, are harmless. But at night you have to be careful, it's better not to walk around alone in the evening, especially in less frequented areas. We lived in a car for about 8 months, with about a month spent sleeping in public areas. Besides being illegal, I advise against sleeping in open areas. Only three times did anyone knock on our door, two of which were police 😅 but the third time was quite scary.
