About me

Aye aye šŸ˜Ž I have lived in New Zealand, Australia, England and Germany. I have traveled much of the EU, and a little bit of America and Asia. I have settled in Melbourne around 6 months ago with my partner. I had plenty of people along the way help me out while I was traveling and now think this app is a great way to pay it back.

About me

Hello, I'm Daseok. I've been studying English for about 5 months now because I'm planning to go to Australia on a working holiday. To be honest, I get super nervous when I talk to foreigners. But I love to meet and talk to travelers.

About me

I'm located on the outskirts of Melbourne, about an hour east, right on the doorstep of the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges. I love showing people around my beautiful area and have travelled extensively both in Australia and around the world. My 14 and 17 year old daughters are with me every other week, otherwise it's just me! I have a bus stop right outside my property giving fairly easy access to most places šŸ™‚ I'm passionate about the environment so if you want to learn or see flora and fauna I'm your girl!

Solo travel

Melbourne is a very nice city. People are lovely, I met a loooot of nice people. The city is safe, I've never felt worried there. Also transportation is very safe and good. I stayed there for 4 month and took the tram dayly without any issues there is a lot of student or people traveling so you can always find people for a trip outside the city.

Group travel

I went to Melbourne for a concert with friends. Unfortunately due to my diet restrictions (gluten intolerant and lactose intolerant) a lot of the restaurants they wanted to go to were not an option for me. However, I was easily able to find places that accommodated my needs and the food was good. I ended up walking around alone a lot and it was so easy to get around. It was safe and I had so much fun. The attractions themselves in Melbourne are really great too. There are a lot of interesting and unique things to do as well as some things that even the locals do. It's a wonderful city to visit and I'm hoping to move there in the next few years!
