Pauline
Berlin
Hi! I’m Pauline, a Dutchie living in Berlin since a year. I graduated in psychology and am now working part-time as social worker. Besides that, I love to be active, and do dance-, yoga-, and boxing classes. I am a full-time life enjoyer, that likes to go to a party once in a while, visit galleries, go for walks in nature (as far as Berlin has that), and have dinners with friends. I am a very open-minded curious person, that loves to meet and connect with new people and learn about new cultures. I mostly travelled in Europe, with my family or with friends, but am wanting to try more solo travelling, as I think it can be super freeing and a valuable experience. Currently looking for places and cute people where I could stay during my time in Japan (27th of April till 27th of may). Hit me up if you could host me, and we could see if it’s a match!☺️

Heyy, my name is Frieda. I just had my 19th Birthday. 🥳 I moved out of my parents last year and am currently training in Berlin. 📈📉📈 But this year in November I wanna start traveling. 🙏🏻💫 I would love to get to know people, maybe even traveling with some throughout the way. :)) I currently have no idea how to do it, but I already feel excitement crippeling up in my tummy when I think about the possibility. 😝🫶🏻

Honestly Berlin is tough as female solo-traveler. I'm from here but if you are by yourself you will probably at least once receive catcalling or stares, especially when you have a cool outfit on and it's nighttime. But if you are out and about in alternative spaces, majority really minds their own business and you can feel comfortable as you are. I'd recommend being with one other person during the night for safety reasons.

I've never had any safety issues in Berlin, not even when walking home alone late at night. But we're talking about a big city, so safety won't be perfect. So the advice for women is the same as always: avoid parks and isolated areas alone at night, etc.
