Is Dresden safe for women?

Flora

Dresden is a pretty safe city. You need to be careful at night if you are using the tram and be aware that the famous christmas markets are a hotspot of theft and drunk men. In comparison to other parts of the city. But in general you can move around pretty easy, wirh exeption to the 13th february, when there are Nazis demonstrating in the city.

Most people here are very friendly and will help others. There are a few spots, where criminal activities peek, but the police are also there for safety reasons. Especially in Neustadt there are many open-minded people
