How safe is Los Angeles County?

Pretty safe, I like leaving here. I def don't like to go out at night, but I still feel pretty safe, no complaints, no homeless people. And a lot of vendors of delicious food. Definitely recommend it

There are really safe areas in LA and more dangerous spots in LA. It’s all about knowing where to go but generally taking an Uber if you are a safe being out and about during the day is pretty safe and just taking regular precautions with your personal stuff so you don’t get pickpocketed

Los Angeles has a high property crime rate. Be highly vigilant and modest. Don’t flash valuables or leave valuable items in sight in car. Ensure no one one is trailing your moves. Travel in pairs or more if walking at night. If solo, use transportation like Uber/lyft. Be careful on public transportation after dark

About Me

I’m a working professional at a university. i’m passionate about social justice. I love to work out, go dancing, go to museums and go hiking with my dogs. I am Latina and I have traveled to about six or seven different countries already. I’ve always wanted to learn how to surf, go skydiving, make my own sushi and see the northern lights. I am pretty outgoing and adventurous. I enjoy cultural attractions as much as the nightlife when I travel.

About Me

Hi! My friends call me Ozzi, I use she/they pronouns and I am moving to LA this month. I’m starting off couch surfing until I get a job and find a place to live long term. I have solo traveled in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France after studying abroad in Wales. I’ve lived in NYC a few summers and graduated from university in Pittsburgh, PA. Originally from Northern California… I love hiking, bouldering, boxing, food, dancing (like at the club, honky tonk or latin dance night). Looking forward to being able to host people in my apartment once I find one!!!
