It’s moderately safe, I wouldn’t recommend being out late in a sketchy area. Like every city, there are some bad parts. But DC is beautiful, especially a lot of touristy areas. I’d recommend the wharf, foggy bottom, DuPont Circle and Georgetown.
Posted: October 16, 2024Make sure to stay in the touristy areas as there are very sketchy areas in DC. For the most part I would feel safe if traveling here alone just be cautious and I would highly not recommended going out at night alone in the city. Really just depends on the specific area of where you are staying.
