Women have to be on guard always and we have to avoid dark alleys and transport after 9PM. Generally public transport is fairly safe but the people on the road and in other places stare a lot. It can get scary if you’re alone somewhere late night.
Posted: May 25, 2025For women, Delhi has often ranked among cities with high reports of harassment and gender-based crimes. Many women feel unsafe walking alone at night or using public transport during odd hours.Pickpocketing and petty theft can occur in crowded places like markets, buses, or metro stations.

I don't feel safe here. Especially night hours. After office hours we get staring from the people. Metro is safe. I am still afraid to take cab or auto or bus. I don't trust men in delhi. Thanks.
Posted: May 1, 2025Delhi does not have a good reputation for being safe, especially for women. However, there are certain things that need to be done and you'll feel very safe. 1. book hotels in good areas. very often I've seen foreigners take hotels in shady areas where even the locals won't go. stick to south delhi for hotels. 2. travel in the metro in women's coach. it is one of the cleanest, well connected and safest mode of transport. 3. take all basic precautions that you would in any other city. 4. be assertive. say no to any unwanted attention. keep walking if strange people try to talk to you. 5. don't go out alone late at night. delhi is not the place for clubbing or night life as a solo woman. there are plenty of places in India towards the South where you can experience it better. in Delhi, try to explore the monuments, the amazing metro, and the food.
Posted: April 20, 2025Delhi is the Capital of India, it is protected with security cameras and the people are open minded and friendly, except the areas closer to villages are not advised to go there alone, It is still better if u bring a friend along with u always remember to not trust anyone, likewise it is safe 💛

Delhi’s public transport I.e metro is extremely safe at all times. I personally would not go out alone post 9PM. However , in a group it’s pretty safe. Delhi is a mixed group- people are extremity nice, some men are dangerous. That’s why this is a girls only app!!

Delhi is a historical place with so many beautiful monuments. The food here is the best in India. But the safety is not great, you can't go out at night even with friends, and hate the pollution here.
