As we all know, not all men, BUT MEN !! such men also exist in Hyderabad. Hyderabad is generally considered safer than many other major Indian cities, it’s advisable to remain vigilant, especially during nighttime or in less crowded areas. I often travel solo in my car during the night to explore the city and Ive never faced any such issues. If you wanna explore the night life of Hyderabad, travel in groups :) or with familiar localites !!

Hyderabad is generally a very safe place to live, travel and work for women. Been here for the last 2 years and have never faced anything unpleasant. I use only public transport and life is convenient and cheap for me.

Experienced lots and lots of catcalling and ogling in broad daylight. I was never groped, even in metros that were FULL of people though I expected it to happen. I would advise not to go out in the dark alone.

Hyderabad is pretty safe for women. Me and my friends hang out late at night till 3am sometimes and people don’t care really. Only thing is regardless of where you are or at what time, there will always be some guys eyes on you or more specifically your body. If you want to be outside late at nights a car is needed to feel safe
Posted: April 13, 2025Hyderabad is pretty safe as far as the areas I've been to or visited. It is always better to take somebody with you tho. Cuz on earth no place is safe for women and i guarantee you that even if they say it's 100% safe for women it isn't. (As long as men exist, sorry I'm going through a breakup rn😭) But i think it is pretty safe, just avoid shady areas, the city is alive throughout the night too in most of the areas.

Hyderabad is overall a safe City to travel to. However I would avoid travelling alone in the night in secundrabad. Also be beware of scammers in the old city. People will give you stares if you look not from the place. However, if you face any unusual stuff, police is always available at all landmarks. Metros and public transports are pretty safe to travel in.
Posted: March 30, 2025The city has the best police is in the whole country.. It got 9.8/10 in the recent survey. The city glows at night so have no worries at night. If you feel trouble the police here are having many schemes to protect you nd your safety

Fairly safe. Safer than north India. The people are very welcoming. I come from Kerala originally. Staying here for my studies. The 20-30 age men might stare and might ask you in rare situations to drop you off of their bikes. But just ignore and walk. If you avoid lonely places it's safe. Just for travelling it's very safe. The tourist places and shops, restaurants are safe. I would not prefer to go on a night walk alone.

Hyderabad is a safe but depends on time and location. There some places which are not safe for women's mostly during night time, but people in hyderabad always welcome travelers will a charming smile. No matter which ever place we visit safety is must, we can never say what kind of person we may encounter.

It’s a vibrant city that prioritises women’s safety. Police are easily accessible and cooperative in case of emergency, which is very rarely needed. Women can move around without worry. You might find men watching you, staring at you, but it most often stops at that.
Posted: January 19, 2025Hyderabad was a great experience overall, even at most crowded places like Charminar Market I was told that I can get pick-pocketed, thankfully that didn't happen. But it was so refreshing to visit as it was safe in regards of sexual harassment related acts. In fact most people did not stare at me which was surprising and refreshing. One should definitely try South Indian cuisine and pastries and other bakery products in Hyderabad, they are truly amazing and fresh! Never tasted bakery products better and fresher than that!

When I am not working you can find me petting cats and dogs or dreaming about my next adventure. I enjoy trying new cuisine and learning about different cultures. I am here to explore the world of solo travelling. I would like to travel internationally more, while Tango-ing wherever I can and connect with like minded people.
