Pretty safe if you respect the culture And do not disrespect dress code It’s still better to travel with companion and not venture too late in night Also abstain from too much drinking and substance abuse with strangers
Posted: June 6, 2025If you're visiting india as a woman please be around a man or with another person when you're in the states where the crime rate is high , especially at night. In the morning stay where the crowd is and keeping your location on at all times. India is generally safe when you're in the right place. Don't drink with strangers as a general safety tip that goes for all countries.

Well Nandyal is the same as other places in India! But in terms of women's safety, it's not that safe but not that high risky! But my advice is not to walk alone at night Especially not at midnight! Because not only being afraid of being harassed, Nandyal has lots of street dog's Especially at night they bark aloud! So, for safety reasons, do not travel alone at night for your safety!! But in day time, it's the same as any other place in India! Moderately safe at public places! If you are alone shopping in streets at daylight Just make sure to shop there, where there are more women, for ur own safety!
Posted: June 4, 2025Moderate safe, like any other teir 2 or 3 city, depends on the area you are staying in as well, else it is fine mostly, and not very unsafe but be careful nevertheless. Go around and enjoy, it's fine.

I think Bangalore is jampacked with people working in IT industry, fairly contains highly civilised people with common and civic sense. Due to the high number of people travelling in and out of Bangalore everyday, it's always safe to have a presence of mind around crowded areas especially public metros, buses and trains for pick pocketing/unauthorised videography by strangers. People are very kind otherwise, also recommend to learn a bit of Kannada(the local language), people are very kind and helpful when you try to speak in their language.

It is safe but usually depends on the area you are in. If you are in a safe area well maintained society and place then its all safe but if ur in some slum area then idts its safe. Avoid walking alone at night after 8 because its not safe we dont know what might happen. Although during the safe its safe to roam around alone.

It's a great place, and you should visit with your family, friends, or anyone! I did many fun activities there—went paragliding, visited Mukteshwar, and enjoyed the sunset. It was a lot of fun, and the local food was 10/10.
Posted: June 4, 2025Experienced: May, 2024In general I find this city very safe. But as a foreigner I get too much attention. Some people are trying to take pictures of me. I don’t have experience with public transport, but Uber is very safe. I personally don’t feel ok with walking alone after 11 pm
