Dehradun doesn't have a lot of crime against women, so I would say it's a pretty safe city overall. The same rules as any other city apply - don't walk home alone at night, don't leave your drink unattended, etc. It's best to know a few people if you're going out as chatting to random strangers may invite trouble. Overall, my microcosm of Dehradun has fantastic people, a chill vibe, decent places to hang out, and is quite safe for women.

Coimbatore is a very safe city with very welcoming and loving people. It’s safe at night as well. I have never experienced any thing unsafe happening to me here even at night. There is nothing much to worry about.
Posted: January 27, 2025Very safe and liberal city. Folks here are friendly and helpful. Safe to move around alone in public transport and late nights are not worry some. Lots of fun places to visit in the day and eat out at. Night life and shopping is also nice here.

Palampur is a very serene and safe city to live in. As a resident I can assure you that the people are very calm and well-mannered. It is a hilly town with great scenic views and great facilities.

Mumbai is an extremely safe city, even for solo female travellers. The people are very helpful as well. Using public transport is also safe at any time of the day or night. There’s a special women’s safety division of the mumbai police department that does the rounds in quiet areas post midnight to ensure safety. However in any case you feel unsafe, call - 100 immediately
Posted: January 26, 2025It's a small town in kollam district, close to jadayu earth centre. A beautiful mid level land which is partially hilly and flat. Here, you can find most landscapes that are built naturally with the forces of nature. Altering nature's architecture could affect the strength of soil which could make things go upside down. This place takes equal amounts of time (1 hour 15min ) to trivandrum city, varkala, ponmudi, kollam city, thenmala, punalur, kottarakara, etc. the best for ecotourism. You must have your own car or means of transport as people go to sleep early in this area ( around 9-10pm).

All of Delhi is not safe. But, most of it is. It is infamous for being unsafe, but I have lived here most of my life and I can assure you, it's not as bad as the media makes it out to be. There are areas that I would avoid at certain times, but I often take cabs all over Delhi, alone, even at 2 am if needed, and I have not had any bad experiences. Clothing wise, its slightly restrictive compared to the Western countries, but not too bad. Again, you need to know what place will have what attire acceptable. I highly recommend making an indian friend who's from Delhi to guide you.
Posted: January 26, 2025It is pretty safe. Kolkata is mostly very nice and modern and does not include much sexual harrassment cases except certain public transportation like buses and packed metros. Otherwise it is pretty safe, you will never feel scared to walk back home at night. Most of the people are very sweet and always willing to help you out on the roads.

Hyderabad is a safe but depends on time and location. There some places which are not safe for women's mostly during night time, but people in hyderabad always welcome travelers will a charming smile. No matter which ever place we visit safety is must, we can never say what kind of person we may encounter.
Posted: January 25, 2025It's quite safe, especially for women. You can always take the public transports like local trains, buses, metros without worrying. Even the autos and cabs are worry free using Ola/Uber. The people are quite helpful even when you find yourself in a tricky situation

I would recommend to go to Kolkata 100%. It's one of the safest place where you can go and enjoy yourself at fullest. I recommend to go to different places cuz the list is never ending. It may be little costly but it's all worth it.

I'm a simple soul and love travelling. I run a small hostel here and do not mind hosting anyone. I want my place to be a safe place for women to come and feel at home as that's something I feel strongly about in the travelling community.
