Chennai welcomes all! It's the best place for women with security cameras everywhere and culture entwined locations to explore. Perfect for vegans, vegetarians and non vegetarians. We have free bus facility only for women and metro connecting the important points of the city.
Posted: September 22, 2025It’s a city of temples and pretty active in all areas. Locals are decent depending on the area you are in. So being a religious place it is overall pretty safe but would not recommend some areas that are orthodox in beliefs
Posted: September 18, 2025It is safe in day light I suppose as I have not been kidnapped yet!!!!😅 at night in metro cities not worry at all but it is scary sometimes! Being a girl it feels little scary everywhere but at night if I am alone on street but in India it depends where you are !
Posted: September 17, 2025Delhi is safe in groups if you want to stay out late/all night, if you're solo I'd suggest stick to day time and before 10pm ideally. one safe location to another is okay ish later than that in terms of cabs.
Posted: September 16, 2025There are time when I have to go and come back on my own in day and evenings as well, and I’d say the experience was not too scary. The people are usually pretty kind, generous and helpful. I’d say it’s not that bad of an experience living here.

We stayed in 5 star hotels which were above expectations! They were amazing, specially Leela ambiance in Delhi. We used uber for getting around, also subway and rikshas were amazing. Food in general was good, specially some restaurants in Muslim areas where they served meat. It was safe, except for driving! It felt like we're gonna crash every minute. I don't recommend going to famous souvenir shop, but old Bazar is a good place to buy souvenir. We stayed one week in total, 3 days in Delhi, 2 days Agra and 2 days Jaipur and I believe it was so little for such an amazing country
