Jyväskylä feels very safe. Very calm and people give space for each other. There are not really lot of crime, that you could see there. Quiet at times though which can be negative in someone’s experience.

Jyväskylä is pretty safe. Use common sense and basic safety precautions and you should be fine. Stay away from drugs. If you are in nightclubs, drink responsibly. Pickpocketing is not very common here.

Jyväskylä is a very safe city in central Finland. You can move freely alone even at night times. Major accidents or other serious security threats are rare here as they are everywhere in Finland, one of the safest countries in the world.
