I feel most people are nice here. I recommend the mountain Schöckel. As a Chinese I’m not used to eating traditional food in Graz but Italian restaurants never disappointed me. Every meal cost about 10-30 Euro. I rent a room for 500 Euro a month because i have to work here for one year
Posted: November 7, 2024Graz is really safe and beautiful city. I am living it in here for 2 months and i am happy in here. If you want to travel around city you should use bikes. It is way easier and cheap way of doing it. I think you will enjoy here!

Graz is pretty safe there are some areas like Gries and Lend and around the main train station that arent as safe at night but comparable with other cities its still safer there! Just dont get into any altercations and try not to talk to the people at main train station at night
Posted: December 29, 2025I would say it‘s really safe. I walked home in the middle of the night so many times and never had any problems or felt unsafe. I mean it also depends on where you are but I haven’t felt unsafe.
Posted: December 16, 2025Graz is a safe city for women to walk alone, as long as you don’t walk alone in parks very late at night. It has a young atmosphere with many students, and the city is very safe. However, no place is 100% safe, so always stay cautious.
Posted: October 21, 2025I can work comfortably alone at any time, even in dark suspicious tunnels. I have never seen public violence or seen men harrasing women. Just once a drunk guy said sth to me as he passed me by on a crowd.

Graz is not a very dangerous city at all, Vienna is far worse and even Vienna is great compared to other cities in the world. Just like everywhere there are creeps in Graz that will catcall you but neither I nor any of my friends have ever had any problem after just continueing walking, just ignore the creeps, they're probably just drunk out of their mind. Also, again just like in every bigger city, there are places to avoid if you want to limit risk and avoid danger, in Graz that place would be the Griesplatz. While it is a very multicultural place it's also rather dangerous and the hygiene...

Heyy, my name is Lisa. I am 21 years old and I would love to see a little more of what the world has to offer. I enjoy outdoor activities, exploring culture(I love art museums) and also just something calm and relaxing like enjoying a day at the beach or trying the local cuisine(and beverages;)) I also love trying out new hobbies:)

Heyyyy girlies, I’m Anna, a 19-year-old university student from Austria who’s always up for an adventure (maybe too often 🫠😂). Since finishing school, I’ve been traveling as much as possible bc I love discovering new countries and meeting amazing people. This year, I went on an Interrail trip, and I’m already planning my next Interrail trip bc it was a blast this year! In summer, I also volunteer at kids camps, which I really enjoy. Speaking of active, I love running(I’m a track&field coach), hiking, and anything outdoors, but I’m just as happy spending time in a city, grabbing a coffee or matcha, and exploring cute spots or doing some shopping.🎀 Always excited to meet fellow travelers and share great experiences!
