Local experience
Being a small city, Trento is safe both during the day and at night, although you shall avoid staying in places near the train station. The city center is easy walkable, but if you have enough time you should definitely go for a day trip in the mountains nearby or even in the Dolomites. if you’re coming during Christmas time, you must visit the Christmas Markets in the city center. Trento is also a great historical city with many museums worth visiting for: go to Buonconsiglio Castle and “MuSe”. If you want to try traditional food you should go to the restaurant Forst right in the city center, try canederli or polenta with meat!
