Is Florence safe for female travelers?

Super, I loved it. Truly a city of culture, history, and old stones. The aesthetics of an old book ❤️🔥. It was a bit much having robes distributed at the entrance of a church just because I was a cyclist with shorts just above the knee, while men walked around freely in much shorter shorts. But, well, you have to adapt to local customs and stay open-minded.
