About Me

Hello, I'm Sevcan. I am a student in Istanbul. Although my life is stuck in the triangle of school-home-work, I try to be intertwined with nature every time I find. Although dog walking is an activity I enjoy, unfortunately I don't have a dog. But I have 2 cats, but it is more accurate to say that I have 2 children:D I have the habit of following artistic activities and examining everything I see in detail. I hope we can get along well, thank you for reading and I hope you have a good day.

Family travel experience

I was in Bari with my daughter and I felt safe. The old town of Bari is very beautiful, though small. Overall, it's not an exceptionally charming city, but it's quite decent and definitely a great starting point. We stayed in a district located between the station and the old town, and everything was fine there. As is tradition in Italy, the areas directly around the station are the least pleasant.

Solo travel experience

Bari itself was nothing special, but the surrounding towns were wonderful. I recommend Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Matera, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Trani. I traveled alone and felt safe, but I didn't walk around alone after dark, except for the first day in Bari. I focused on intensive sightseeing.

Solo travel experience

Bari was not my favorite destination. It's a big city, located on the coast, so you constantly inhale exhaust fumes. I was staying a bit outside of the city, but I could still hear the noise of cars from the nearby highway. On the positive side, there were good bus and train connections for exploring other parts of Italy. I came back earlier than planned because it was not quite the right place for me. I prefer more greenery. As for safety, I didn't feel bad, I traveled everywhere on foot or used public transport.
