Hello! I am Marlene from Germany, I started traveling solo in September 2021 and have been traveling through eight African countries ever since. My goal is definitely to see as much from the earth as possible and I already learnt so much about cultures, traditions, beliefs, life and myself that I feel like I don’t want to stop traveling and exploring at all! I love to meditate, I do yoga regularly, would love to do my breathwork certification next year and am passionate about everything regarding philosophy and psychology! I love good, vegan food, good books and conversations that spark something inside of me.

Stayed near the train station and felt safe walking around in the night (10pm or so). Main shopping street is lively even in the evening. Nice Central Park to sit and soak in the view. Try the local dishes like dumplings in soup and roast with potato dumplings.

I have been living in Stuttgart for several years and would approve that Stuttgart in general is a safe city. Of course you might want to avoid some areas or district but the main areas are safe. Exploring a city by car is very stressful and expensive. Stuttgart is there no exclusion. I would recommend to use public transportation, which is really reliable and cheap (day pass for an adult for one zone like downtown is like 6€.
Posted: January 30, 2024Stuttgart is a very safe city for solo women travelers and is really easy to get around. Extremely diverse and plenty of places to explore (food, drinks, history). Definitely check out Stuttgart if you are in Germany.
