Hey I’m 20 years old and have always lived in Dresden. I have a deep love for animals and currently own two horses. I am currently in an apprenticeship to become a real estate agent, and in addition, I work in the hospitality sector at the Semper Opera House. I speak German, English, and French fluently, and I’m eager to improve my Spanish skills.

Jette
Heyy, my name is Jette and I am from the beautiful city of Dresden, Germany. After finishing High School I went to volunteer in a Camphill Community in Scotland for a year. That was a truly life changing experience. After that I did some more work and travel (which I am still doing currently, before I'll start studying in the fall). I worked in Hostels all over Europe, on farms and also as an Elf in Lapland during the Christmas season. All of these jobs were a lot of fun! I love travelling and connecting with other people :)) If you are ever in Dresden let me know and I will show you the best spots in the whole town! I promise! Besides travelling I also love sewing, singing, dancing, writing, discovering new cute cafés, baking, cooking and cozy nights with friends. I speak German and English fluently as well as a bit(!) of French :))
Malou
Hi, I'm Malou, not yet 20 and I'm a open-minded and sensibly extrovert person. I'm the big sister and big cousin, so I don't have a role model in my family, what means that I have to find myself and try out as much as possible to find my way, if you know what I mean :) I love languages, sports, food, music and parties, but also bike trips, swimming in lakes and chilling in the nature.

ok, dresden is quite an expensive city but in a week I was able to spend about 100€ (maybe it's cheap for you), there are a lot of youth events where different freaks gather (I advise you to go to the park in Neustadt!!) also if you are interested be sure to go to the open space, these guys sometimes organize cool meetings and be sure to TRY THEIR SHAWARMA. the downsides are the rather expensive city transport and the constant problems with trains (definitely buy tickets on Flixtrain!! they are much cheaper there) and I strongly advise against walking alone at night, there are a lot of drunk men there who can harass you.
Posted: May 7, 2025I was surprised at how beautiful the city of Dresden is, very clean and safe compared to many cities in Germany. The architecture in the city center is more like French or Italian architecture, which is nothing short of amazing! The best coffeeshop in the city is called Oswaldz, located near the center and with incredibly delicious coffee. I also recommend eating at restaurants like Mama Mia, Shiki, but the price tag there is not cheap, rather than the usual restaurant level in Germany. Visit the suspension road in the city and see the city from above.

Hi! I'm Sarah, I'm 22 and from Philadelphia, but I have lived in Edinburgh for 4 years whilst I study art history at the uni here! I am moving back to the US in September, so I am planning lots of solo trips this summer to make the most of being in Europe! I am super chill and flexible in regards to planning trips, I love to hike and be outside but also visit museums and historical sites! I am very happy to show people around or host if needed if anyone is interested in visiting Edinburgh!🥰
