About me

Hey You! Im 34 years old, queer and mother of an adult human 🥹 (he is 20 now). So I think that might say a lot about me. Kidding: I’m a person that loves connection. I have grown my son, I have a lot of sisters and I’m part of a big choir. I don’t have a lot of friends but the hand full of them are based on growing together, learning, enjoying, be part of each others lives. It’s a great feeling to create something together. I’m a relationship kind of person (not only in a romantic way). Friendship/Relationships means a lot to me. I value the small things - time, rainy days in the summer, kindness, a good song, unreasonable things…

About Me

Cheery and a good listener. Seeing a picturesque sight with someone else makes it a beautiful moment. I enjoy architecture, history, and classical music. I'm also fond of needlework, especially embroidery. Message me to grab a cup of tea or coffee! While I am a bit of a bookworm - I like Jane Austen, I do love parties. Connecting with new people of all ages is an integral part of my life. (我除了英语德语以外,还会说一点普通话).

Is Berlin safe to travel?

4.4 /5

Based on 44 experiences

Solo travel experience

Berlin was my second couchsurfing experience and it was amazing! I don't speak German but the locals were really helpful, they mostly speak English. I felt safe with my host all the time, even in questionable parts of the city at night. The public transport is well structured and precise. The food wasn't really special for me, but it's not that expensive, so overall acceptable. You can find many free time activities, I recommend museums for the days and clubs for the nights.

Couple travel experience

Berlin is my favorite place to go. Most of the times I go with my fiancé but sometimes I also travel solo. Fairly safe as the city seems to never sleep. If you like art and music, this is the place to be

Is Berlin worth visiting?

Overall rating

4.4 /5

based on 44 experiences

Solo travel experience

Berlin is incredibly diverse. Depending on the neighborhood, one should be cautious in the evenings/nights, but otherwise, it’s really great if you like big cities. What’s absolutely recommended: trying out different foods! There are so many great restaurants, cafés, and other food shops ☺️ Berlin is definitely worth a trip!
