About Me

Cheery and a good listener. Seeing a picturesque sight with someone else makes it a beautiful moment. I enjoy architecture, history, and classical music. Although I am open to trying culinary delights of almost any kind, I am particularly fond of tea and sweets. And while I am a bit of a bookworm - I like Jane Austen, I would consider myself a cheery person. Connecting with new people of all ages is an integral part of my life. (我除了英语德语以外,还会说一点普通话).

Is Berlin safe to travel?

4.6 /5

Based on 39 experiences

Family travel experience

You definitely need to use your common sense in Berlin and keep out of places that aren’t as safe as the other ones. There are some very rude and scary men as well as homeless people. I stayed close with my family, but I wouldn’t feel safe by myself at night.

Solo travel experience

I felt very safe in Berlin. The city was so calm and peaceful despite being a capital it didn't feel crowded at all. I can recommend the tours Destino Berlin offers. The Berlin wall tour was amazing!!! Curry 61 was a nice stop to grab a bite. The transport is very easy to use once you do it once or twice, very clear, clean. I didn't have a very big itinerary because it was the last stop of my trip and I was tired, but I still loved it.

Solo travel experience

I had a solo traveler experience in Berlín, I only stayed 2 days but it was great. I stayed at Christopher's inn Hostel near Alexander platz. People at the Hostel were friendly. They have a tour for the guests and beer was 2x1 for the guests. I had fun and met great girls.

Solo travel experience

My first solo travel! Was amazing, way better than I expected - and I expected a lot. I stay I'm Mitre and it is worth it so you don't need to spend a lot of money on transportation. My travel was focused on museums and art and my tips are: buy the 3 day tickets if you are a museum holic like. Also, I had the chance of going to some gallery's fee free because I arrived very "late" so they dont charge in the last hour.
