Local experience

Hey ! I am a Toronto local and here are a few tips I have for you ladies : 1. This is a very safe city however the subway has been filled with homeless people and sometimes even I don’t feel safe being on subway platforms late at night.even during the day stay well back from the tracks and watch your surroundings 2. Toronto is full of beautiful parks . I definitely recommend high park in the west end for a day trip of walking and pic mix 3. Check out Toronto islands in the summer and to avoid the crowded ferry there is a tiki taxi that is much faster and cheap 4. Traffic is awful all the time . I generally walk around in the downtown core to avoid being stuck

Local experience

Toronto is a safe place to travel. However the downtown east side of the city can get a little sketchy at night. I would recommend harbourfront for walks, but avoid the restaurants there. They are overpriced and the food is not amazing.

Very safe city. Though I find the best tome to travel to Toronto is during summer bc winter can be a bit harsh. The food is generally great and you can find restaurants that focus on different cultures!
