Other than that, I loooove to go out (not enough O's to show my love of going out) and discover new places, I'm vegetarian at home, I love to sew (well, I'm learning) and always ready to thrift ahah, watch movies, go out in the city or in nature.

Eloïse
Hello ! I’m 29 yo. I’m French. I recently left my country for living one of my dream, moving in Montreal. I love to live abroad for knowing new culture and meeting new people. I did it several times in Europe like in Moscow, Warsaw, Dublin and Brussels. It helps me to learn a lot about myself and others. I’m also a journalist, working in local radio. I’m very curious. And I’m always ready for discovering new addresses, exhibitions or just sharing a drink !
Charlotte
Hey you! I‘m Charlotte and actually from Germany. My semester abroad ends mid-May (11th) but I want to travel after and focus more on Canada. So far I have Boston, Montreal, Calgary and British Columbia (mainly Vancouver+island) on my list and would love to have a travel buddy for one or more destinations.
Linda
Hey girls 🥰👋 I'm Linda from Germany and I'm on the lookout for some awesome people to hang out with during my upcoming trip! From April 26th to 29th, I'll be exploring Toronto, then off to the breathtaking Niagara Falls from April 30th to May 2nd, followed by a stint in Ottawa from May 2nd to 4th, and wrapping up my adventure in Montreal until May 8th. 🇨🇦 I'm all about making the most of my time, whether it's checking out cool cafes, hitting up clubs for some fun, enjoying the sights on an exciting outing, enjoying the sunset with a view, and a lot of more :)☕️🍷🎊🏞️🌞🌅 With a move to Munich with my boyfriend on the horizon, this trip marks a special time for me—a chance to unwind, meet new people, and make memories. So, if you're up for some great company and exploring these incredible cities together, let's connect! Can't wait to hear from you. 😊

I’m currently travelling in Montreal, I’m here for a month. I’m having a lot of fun here, it’s really nice and safe place, as a woman I feel very good with the city and walking by myself. The only bad point would be the prices that are very high unfortunately…
Posted: March 26, 2024I absolutely adore Montreal. I would recommend accommodation close to transit/train stations as their transit systems are really efficient. Things stay open late but on weekends expect them to wrap up around 3am. I wouldn’t recommend being out alone past that time. Even though it’s still fairly safe, there were still a few unsafe moments as a woman travelling alone. So stick to transit, don’t be out past 2-3am especially alone, and call an Uber if you must!
Posted: February 2, 2024Experienced: September, 2023Overall I thought my experience here was pretty good. I came with a mixed gender group of friends and we stayed at a airbnb for 4 nights. I think the average price for each person was just a bit over $100. The public transport is easy to understand even without understanding French, but our taxi/uber experiences were not very good. There’s many activities outside of the city that can be easily accessed by bus as well as a robust nightlife. Although the one day we went to a club, all the women in our group got groped by some sleezey old dudes (we’re all in university). Still, it was a really fun experience to have with friends!
