Sevilla was an amazing experience! The vibes were great & people very friendly! I really loved the flair that the orange trees give to this sunny city! Sharing Tapas with other Solo Travellers is a must do there! Just make sure to book your alcazar tickets in advance to not stand in a queue at 8am 🥲
Posted: February 14, 2025Experienced: December, 2024I don’t think I ever have felt this safe in a big city. Not one single comment or look from other people, although I have not been out anything in the night. There is much to do and organizations who helps you with meeting new people and seeing the whole city!
Posted: January 30, 2025Seville is a great beautiful city full of old architecture, streets, green blooming parks, with singing birds 🦚🦜swans 🦢 , little turtles 🐢. Really I don’t remember much of the names of the famous places. Anyway you’ll like it all I dare. So I just enjoyed the surface, the Spanish 🇪🇸 vibe, Looking around and soaking all in with my favorite food 🥘 paella’s, drinking sangria the only thing that make you cooling in a hot 🔥 siesta time in summer. Sevilla is very hot, but as I told there’s a lot of parks to hide in a shade, of bars are always opened in a hottest hours. Something to see in Seville my recommendation is of course — flamenco 💃🏼. Hot charming passionate Spanish national dance. And just look 👀 around the city

Sevilla IS a great place to visit if you're passioned about History , specially the andalousian History. I rented a room in a beautiful house on Airbnb, the hosts were very kind and we could exchange even if we don't speak the same langage. I recommand it as town that you should visit while doing a road trip in the south of spain
Posted: October 6, 2024You’ve gotta have some fresh orange juice if it’s in season! I went for three days which were easy to fill, if I went again I would try to time my mealtimes better to align with theirs. Perfect place for a solo trip, had an amazing time, wish I dressed as well as the locals though.

It is one of the most amazing cities that I have been to. As I was arriving, it was already 3 o’clock at night, but people can not really tell. All I can remember is that it was like there was still daytime, people were just going out from their home to attend different party’s or going for a night drink. Really relaxing vibe there. Also, all the tapas were so amazing and also the Sangria, and they were not privy at all!! Also, there are royal palace and architecture to visit! I would love to visit there again!!
Posted: July 15, 2024Seville It was great and felt very safe. The food was good, and the people were friendly. There is a lot to see and do! You can go shopping, take a walk in the park, or sit down and relax in the sun. It's good to know that in the summer, it can get quite hot.

Currently living in Seville and I’m in love with it. I honestly didn’t know about this city and ended up here by chance, but I’m glad I did. It gives you the best of both worlds of living in a “big city” but which still has this romantic traditional charm and is not too busy. At this point, I’ve visited most of the famous monuments here such as the Alcázar, Las Setas, La Giralda. If you’re on limited time, I suggest staying in the city center and visiting these 3. After which, you can crawl through the surrounding narrow alleys and be surprised by hidden bars, cafes, and even museums. There’s just so much to see 💖

I spent a week in Seville, October 2022 and i still think about it. I was working remotely but staying in La Banda hostel which was an amazing mix of social but not mad party so i met some great people but no push if you didnt want to go out. I loved the food, the music, the streets and always felt safe. It does get hot mid year but in October it was perfect weather.

I would really recomend visiting “Plaza España” as it’s so beautiful and full of the sevillano essence. There you can experience people doing “el tablao” which is dancing the typical dance with the typical music The food is really good and cheap if you eat purely tapas. I liked a lot visiting the cathedral and going to the bridge of Triana. I was there for 3 days and if you walk a lot you can see almost everything important in the city

About most touristic areas, nothing to worry about at all. Just take care of your belongings, in Plaza de España main square. I recommend u have a walk around the centre and Las Setas. Transport is very safe and often. I have grown up there
Posted: May 7, 2025Generally safe, the biggest problem I've had is my bike stolen 3-4 times. I wouldn't wander around certain areas at late hours of the night for too long, definitely be careful if walking home by yourself while intoxicated.

Hey! I’m a laid-back and curious traveler who loves exploring new places through their food, art, and local culture. I’ve called a few places home and love meeting people with different stories and backgrounds. I’m into photography, live music, and finding those under-the-radar spots that make a trip unforgettable. Whether it’s wandering through a local market, catching a gig, or just soaking in the atmosphere of a new city, I’m all about new experiences and good company. Let’s connect and see where the journey takes us!

He usado también couchsurfing, y workaway anteriormente
