Menorca is generally safe for solo female travellers. The crime rate is fairly low, and locals are friendly towards tourists. However, like any touristic place, caution should be used especially during night times at deserted places. Spanish people are quite helpful and hospitable, which adds up to the safety. Though, please be wary of petty theft in crowded areas.
Menorca, overall, is a safe location even at night. It's a fairly peaceful island known for its relaxing atmosphere. Generally, streets are well-lit and people are friendly. However, as with any travel, regardless of location, it is always important to have a certain level of caution especially when walking alone at night. Avoid deserted areas and always let someone know your whereabouts. Moreover, make sure your phone is fully charged in case of emergencies. Common sense and awareness of your surroundings will always be your best form of safety.

The drivers maintain professionalism and the fellow passengers mostly consist of friendly locals and tourists. However, like any place, it is always recommended to be vigilant of your belongings.
Street harassment:Low
Menorca is often characterized by its laid-back, relaxed atmosphere making it a favorite destination among travelers. Instances of street harassment are generally rare, and it has a reputation for being safe. However, always remember to remain vigilant especially when in crowded places and during peak tourist seasons.

But overall, the island is known for its safety and security.
Tap water:Very safe
In general, tap water in Menorca is both clean and safe to drink. The water supply network and treatment systems are up to par with European standards. However, despite its safety, many locals and travelers prefer bottled water due to the tap water having a distinct taste that's often not to their liking. Still, there's no need to worry about your health as it's pretty safe to consume.

Solo travel experience
In April I stayed in Ciutadella for 3 days and I loved it. Amazing weather, not many tourists, clean water, lovely people and very safe.
