Tarragona's food scene is a delightful blend of Catalan and Mediterranean influences, offering plenty of seafood, local produce, and traditional Spanish dishes. It's very diverse, ranging from budget-friendly tapas bars to more upscale dining options. Vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives are also available, but may not be as diverse compared to other larger cities. The quality of the food is generally excellent with fresh, local ingredients used. Understandably, the seafood here is particularly outstanding. Remember that Spanish dining times can be different from what you're used to, with lunch at 2-4pm and dinner at 9-11pm.
