However, like any touristic place, caution should be used especially during night times at deserted places. Spanish people are quite helpful and hospitable, which adds up to the safety. Though, please be wary of petty theft in crowded areas.

Traveling within Menorca is fairly convenient. The island isn't very big and the pathways are well connected. Places of interest are easily reachable, but might require a bit of walking or bicycling. The public transport options are less frequent in the quieter seasons which might need some planning. Menorca has a beautiful landscape which makes traveling around a pleasant experience.

Solo travel experience

In April I stayed in Ciutadella for 3 days and I loved it. Amazing weather, not many tourists, clean water, lovely people and very safe.
