I've lived my whole life in Craiova and nothing bad has ever happened to me, I've walked through the city at midnight and even later and I can say that my worries are just the product of my anxiety and not of any bad experiences. The city centre feels the safest as it is always illuminated but you should avoid certain areas of the city especially at night. Just be careful with the public transport, the lust bus is around 21:30-22:00 and the trams run until midnight i think but every half an hour to an hour when it gets late.

Is a nice city, with friendly people. But as in any city, you have to pay atencion and be careful. The public transport is safe, but as a solo girl I wouldn’t walk alone on streets during the night. So enjoy

Craiova is not a really a city woth a lot travelers so most of the time there are only locals there. After dark there are hardly any people out, only in the central city and even then after midnight there is basically no one. I don't really recommend it for solo travelers and anyway there is not much to do or see other than the Christmas Mark in Winter

Craiova is a very nice place, I think it is quite safe, local people are nice. Of course, as in any other new place, you need to be careful. However, I feel like safety is not a big problem, I would say it is quite a calm place to live.
