Tourist infrastructure is well-established, making navigation and lodging relatively straightforward. Always abide by standard safety precautions such as avoiding deserted areas at night and keeping close track of your belongings, particularly in crowded places. But overall, you can feel confident about your safety in Zakopane.

Transport:Easy

Navigating around Zakopane is quite straightforward, with most places of interest within walking distance or a short bus ride. The town is compact enough that you can easily explore it on foot, and there is a reliable local bus service if you'd like to venture further out. The language barrier may pose a little hassle for non-Polish speakers, but overall, it's fairly simple to get around.

Things to do:Interesting

Zakopane offers a wide range of activities, making it highly enjoyable for solo female travelers. The town is known for its unique cottages, wooden churches, and breathtaking nature - the Tatras Mountains are perfect for hiking and mountaineering. However, the lack of options for those following specific dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free might require a bit more searching.

Budget:Moderate

Zakopane offers an affordable travel experience, but is not the cheapest destination. Accommodation, food and activities are reasonably priced, especially by Western standards. Zakopane is beautiful town in Poland . I was there first time January 2023. The atmosphere of nature is wonderful. I love trekking and Zakopane has beautiful natural park for that. If you are consider to visit Zakopane you must go Morskie Oko. You will be able to see frozen lake. Maybe you can be tired of trekking but i will worth it. Because, the view is awesome!!!❤️❄️

Solo travel experience

I was in Zakopane myself last summer, it's a wonderful place. However, for all those who haven't been there yet, please, if you can, don't take horses to Morskie Oko, go on foot. These horses are overburdened with work. The situation is better than a few years ago, there are more regulations and conversations about it, but the situation is still far from ideal.
