I loved Paris a lot! You need one week at least for here. There are many places to visit. I liked Paris Brest. İt's so delicious! Everyone should try it! I couldn't stop to look at Eiffel tower 🙈 it was so lovely... I wish I will come there with my soulmate in the future... I can't say I felt I'm safe but it was okay. But metro was so dirty.. I did not like that. There was a big horrible traffic also ... If you want to visit everywhere by walk, you will lose too much weight 😂😂 I'm thinking I will visit there at least one more time in my life! Love you Paris! Missed you
Posted: March 19, 2025Experienced: December, 2024For the most part I felt safe. I stayed near gare du nord, which is a more restless part of the city, situated between two train stations. I don't recommend traveling late at night there especially at the train/ metro station. Paris had a lot of beautiful parks and a lot of free attractions and museums for under 26 year olds from the EU.
Posted: March 14, 2025Experienced: March, 2024Paris is mostly safe, but keep an eye out for pickpockets in crowded areas. Walking along the Seine, exploring Montmartre, and catching a jazz night were highlights, while overpriced tourist traps are worth it. The food scene is incredible—amazing bakeries everywhere, L’As du Fallafel for a quick bite, and classic French bistros for a long, indulgent dinner. Budget-wise, it’s not cheap, but avoiding touristy spots helps. Accommodation depends on the area—Le Marais is charming, but staying near the Eiffel Tower feels overrated. The metro is efficient but packed, while walking remains the best way to explore. As for the itinerary, Paris is best enjoyed without a rigid plan—just stroll, discover, and soak it all in. ❤️💄
Posted: March 10, 2025Experienced: February, 2025In paris i felt nearly as safe as in my home town. Everything was good, and not very expensive. A good city to just take a walk without destination and admire the city itself. It has it's own identity wich is soooo good.

I spent New Year’s in Paris with my partner, and at first, it was beautiful. Museums, romantic streets, and that classic Parisian charm. But then, reality hit someone stole my phone. Just like that, all my photos were gone, and of course, they didn’t sync. So instead of a dreamy trip, I got a firsthand lesson in how much stealing happens there. Let’s just say Paris was not the city of love for me that day.
Posted: February 19, 2025I stayed at the St. Christopher Canal Inn. The hostel was pretty good and safe. Met some really good people there. I didn’t feel safe in Paris, especially at night. Even during the day, walking through some streets near Montmartre was a bit of cautious experience. While the public transport was pretty clean (it smelled bad), it was often too crowded and the risk of pickpocketing made me feel pretty unsafe.
Posted: February 14, 2025I felt mostly safe in the touristic areas. I visited the tour Eiffel, notre dame, la seine, the Louvre... It was easy to move with the subway, you can buy carnet of tickets for three days or a week.
Posted: February 9, 2025My time in Paris was way better than I expected! I LOVED the museums, which you can mostly visit for free under a certain age. Live music at midnight at the Eifel Tower was a truly unique experience. But watch out which parks you enter and trust your intuition. We got into a shooting at a park full of drug dealer (we had luck and could escape early enough)
Posted: January 18, 2025Hi! Paris has many activities to offer. It's a great place to travel as a student, bacause if you are under 26 and from EU you can visit many museums for free (also museum of Louvre and Versailles). I wouldn't say it was one of my favourite destinations to travel, but maybe it's just me, bacause I usually prefer nature. I really enjoyed art museums and just exploring different streets with different vibes. Food and accomondatioms are quite expensive. I would reccomend to go eating out of center, or just buying a baguette, cheese and wine and enjoy cheap but a nice french meal:)
Posted: January 15, 2025Paris was a very nice trip with my girlfriend. As a queer couple we were a bit worried at first but it was soo nice! Paris is a big city with many things to explore and see. Also I loved that you get free entrance at many places if you are under the age of 36 and an eu member.

I would say that Paris in the day is fairly safe, especially if you're with a friend, but I would not wander around the city at night especially alone. Most metros close at around midnight or 1am so I would say that's a good time to start leaving the streets. Try to be aware of your surroundings if you do need to walk past that time
Posted: March 25, 2025Paris is overall a safe city, you can visit and even stay outside late after dark. You should just be aware of pickpockets, especially in public transport. I would advise not to use your phone in the transport, especially when the doors are about to close. Also, do not put your phone in your outside pocket as it may be stolen.

Chloé
Hi, my name is Chloé, I’m 18 years old and originally from Paris, although I used to live in the south of France near Marseille. I have a passion for traveling and discovering new things, which is why I’ve set a personal goal to visit at least one country on every continent before I finish my studies. Speaking of studies, I’m currently in my first year of a double degree in Law and Biomedical Sciences. I’m really excited about it, and I look forward to meeting new people and exploring different cultures along the way. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, reading, and exploring journalism. I’ve recently picked up a new hobby—crochet—which I’ve been having a lot of fun with. Overall, I’m eager to keep learning, growing, and experiencing all the world has to offer.

Hi, my name is Emese! 👋 I'm from Hungary, and I really love living here. Budapest is such a cool and beautiful capital city! You must visit if you're traveling nearby and want to have a great time without spending a lot of money. ;) I also love traveling and getting to know different cultures to learn and find inspiration. I'm a university student studying architecture, so I enjoy visiting both famous and not so kown landmarks. But I'm a huge foodie too!
