Yes, I feel mostly safe there, but man also can make me feel terrible, sorry I loved to going on a foot walk along the river, unbelievable view! I'm had budget and stand in family house, so no needs for paying rent. Also we liked to pick up packages of food that were about to expire (this helps both save money and preserve nature). And the food there was really good and tasty.

Toulouse is a very safe place, a city with a predominantly young and active population. There are also good restaurants and cafés. The pink color of the city's buildings provides a very pleasant atmosphere.

Toulouse is a small and beautiful city, if you like visiting churches and walking you will love it, I felt safe at all times and it is easy to use the metro, especially with the 3-day pass, fortunately I stayed the night with a friend so I don't know How expensive is the accommodation :(
Posted: February 2, 2025Experienced: October, 2024Easy to travel, safe at night, lots of vintage and an tique markets, beautiful city. Better to travel there during the fall since the city is so hot during the summer! The Botanical garden at Museum de Toulouse is a must.

It was a trip not very far from home, from the south of Spain, but it was one of my first solo trips. I didn't have much of a budget, so I chose Toulouse because I found a very cheap flight. The city in general seems safe to me, although I had some alarming experiences on the outskirts; a man followed me for a long time and it was hard to dissuade him. I would avoid the periphery if you don't know someone from the area, but in the center, I never had any problems. If you travel alone, you'll surely find another traveler in the same situation on the river steps watching the sunset.

In the city center it's very good, beyond I'm not sure i have been harassed couple of times verbally. However I'm still coming back on feet from city center to my place, drunk in the middle of the night and im good ^^
Posted: October 22, 2025Some areas are to be avoided, especially at night. But the city center in itself is okay to me. I've never been assaulted or felt very unsafe in Toulouse, but that may be as well because I don't go out at night in well known unsecured areas. I would say some harassment from guys is likely to happen tho. People are usually very helpful in this town, so as long as you are surrounded by other people, I guess that should be fine, and someone will intervene in case you are bothered by a guy.

I think Toulouse is pretty safe. Not the safest place on earth but I've been living here for 10 years and I generally feel safe here. People can come talk to you unsolicited and be annoying sometimes, but usually when it happens, people around will notice and keep an eye on the interaction. Some parts of the city are a little bit more sketchy at night, but overall the city's pretty cool. Even if I'm always careful when going out, I never felt like I couldn't go home alone or take public transportation.

Toulouse is a pretty safe city. I am mostly worried, because I am a women living alone. But it is pretty ok to leave here. All te public transport have videos watching if something happen, and thereare security gards everywhere in the evening.

A lot of people hanging out. Nothing to fear if you are not alone. Stay near main places and lights. Take care while taking public transports, a lot of bar and more opened up so feel free to go near them if you want to escape someone

About me 🧐? I don't really know what to say, but what I can say is that my name is Clémence and I'm 19 years old. I live in Toulouse, "the Pink City" (by the way, one of the most beautiful cities in France 😁). I'm a second-year law student aiming to work as a diplomat, but it's not a sure thing; the studies will be long, and I like going out with my friends, so we'll see where it all leads 🤣🤣

I'm up for adventurous endeavours, cultural visits, culinary discoveries. My way of travelling varies depending on the destination, but I priviledge simplicity and authenticity. I walk a looooot! And I love to ride my 🏍️ Last year I had spent 45 000 hours on Spotify, so music is a great deal of my life. I've been trying to learn drums this year :)
Giulia
Toulouse
Hi! I’m Giulia, 31, from Italy (Venice region), now living in Toulouse, France. I work in communication and digital content, trying to find moments to travel solo. Solo wasn’t really a choice, but I just got tired of being held back by others! I’m here to connect with people from all over the world, meet up, explore together, or help a fellow girl out. I travel to reconnect with myself (sounds hippie af) but it works for me. I also love discovering new places and taking photos to share with friends and family who can’t travel. It might be old school, but it's my way of bringing them along :)
Florencia
Toulouse
Hello everyone! I'm Florencia, from Argentina and I'm 30 yo. I've been living in France for a bit more than 2 years now, I first came as a fille au pair and now I'm a student working part time in a bakery ☺️. During my last 3-4 years I've been lucky enough to travel to a few places while being an au pair (in USA and in France). I've discovered a passion for traveling and taking photos as memories of all those beautiful experiences. I'm currently living in Lyon, and even though I have not much free time as before, you can always reach me out for suggestions around the area or maybe meeting up for a coffee! Have a good day you all! ❤️✨
