Family travel

Yes, I feel mostly safe there, but man also can make me feel terrible, sorry I loved to going on a foot walk along the river, unbelievable view! I'm had budget and stand in family house, so no needs for paying rent. Also we liked to pick up packages of food that were about to expire (this helps both save money and preserve nature). And the food there was really good and tasty.

Toulouse is a very safe place, a city with a predominantly young and active population. There are also good restaurants and cafés. The pink color of the city's buildings provides a very pleasant atmosphere.

Solo travel

Easy to travel, safe at night, lots of vintage and an tique markets, beautiful city. Better to travel there during the fall since the city is so hot during the summer! The Botanical garden at Museum de Toulouse is a must.

Solo travel

It was a trip not very far from home, from the south of Spain, but it was one of my first solo trips. I didn't have much of a budget, so I chose Toulouse because I found a very cheap flight. The city in general seems safe to me, although I had some alarming experiences on the outskirts; a man followed me for a long time and it was hard to dissuade him. I would avoid the periphery if you don't know someone from the area, but in the center, I never had any problems. If you travel alone, you'll surely find another traveler in the same situation on the river steps watching the sunset.

Solo travel

It is a beautiful city with plenty to see and do. Felt safe during the day and at night. Walks along the canal du midi and the narrow streets in the town. The metro is easy to get around in. Stayed in hotel in Jean Juras .

It's a fairly big city where people are really kind and will help you if needed. Of course, men are a problem everywhere but I lived and studied here for more than six years and I felt pretty safe. I only have few catcalling incidents in mind.

Like any big cities, Toulouse sees a diverse crowd. It's generally safe during the days and, even at night, I would be ok walking in the city center or the more touristy spots. However, as a woman, you never feel 100% safe at night, especially in less busy areas. There are some neighbourhoods (in the south-est of the city mostly) that I would avoid but those areas don't have really anything to see there anyway.
